I was working with a client recently whom I hadn’t seen for a while. I was listening to her explaining what had been happening in her life over the last few weeks and what she felt was due to the healings she had received when I suddenly got a sharp pain in my arm. The pain got worse becoming excruciating and I wondered what on earth was going on, whilst trying not to show my client that I was in agony.

I asked her to get onto the couch and started doing the healing and could feel the whole of my arm to my finger tips going numb. I had never experienced anything like this before. Then I heard my dog Jester barking, usually if I talk to him in my mind he settles but he was trying to alert me to something.

I excused myself from my client and ran downstairs to see what was up and felt ice cold energy. I realised that he was alerting me to a lost soul that must have come in with my client and detached from her energy. I quickly sent it back to Source and Jester settled.

The pain in my arm and numbness were still there so as I resumed the healing I asked what was going on. I was amazed at what I was told. The particular client had shot me in the arm with a poisoned arrow after I had been wrongly accused of something and the connection with her had brought it to the surface for healing.

I was guided to ask for the energy of the arrow and poison to be cleared from my arm and energy system and then to forgive my client. I then went on to cut the negative ties between us and as all this was done I felt the pain subsiding in my arm.

I was then able to continue the healing for my client. I chose not to tell the client at the time as I felt she would not have understood what I was explaining as she was new to healing. It brought home to me how we are healing ourselves when we heal others and that often there will be a connection from a past life and so there may be past life issues that need to be cleared between you. I have never experienced anything quite like that before and it will be interesting to see how it affects my clients progress as by healing myself there was a big healing taking place for her too.
