Loving Yourself

As we move into November and the darker nights, it is a reminder that winter is coming and there is a need to sort out the garden, clearing out the dead wood and planting bulbs ready for the dawning of the spring. Equally for us it is a good time to be looking at what no longer serves us so that we weed it out of our life. It may be material items, people or old behaviour patterns that need to go. As we clear out the ‘dead wood’ so to speak we make room for the new to grow.

I saw a caption on Facebook today which is so true.

‘You will only find others to love you as much as you love yourself.’

Such important words when we understand that the way the universe works is to reflect back to us what is going on within. If we do not love and respect ourselves then we will draw in people who do not love and respect us. When we learn the importance of healing ourselves first and foremost so that we can love ourselves unconditionally then we will start to manifest what we truly desire in our lives.

Looking after ourselves first is not being selfish, it is making sure that we are in the right place to be able to support and truly love those who surround us and love us. Take a look around you. How cluttered is your house or work space? Does it need a clear out? If you want to be able to grow as a person on all levels then you need to be prepared to take a look at yourself and acknowledge the parts of you that need to be addressed, so that old thought and behaviour patterns are released. How many of us keep people in our lives who drain us when really we should let them go. We cannot help those who aren’t willing to take responsibility for themselves, nor should we bowl in and help them unless they ask. Equally we need to ask the universe, angels and /or our guides when we need help. They won’t help unless they are asked as they are not allowed to within the spiritual laws.

How many of us keep drawers and wardrobes full of clothes that we haven’t worn for years… now is as good a time as ever to have a clear out and de-clutter as it will help you to do the same on other levels.

Regular de-cluttering of ourselves (and our homes and workspaces) allows us to keep our vibration high, and our mood positive. It keeps us in a space where we are able to love and respect ourselves and it allows growth. It empowers us to help others with a willing heart and with a lot of love. Take the time to connect with your angels and guides and ask them to help you to de-clutter and heal yourself. They will hear you and will help you. All you need to do is ask from the heart with love and then thank them from your heart too.

May the winter nights give you time to de-clutter so that the spiritual seeds of growth may be sewn ready for growth over the coming months.
