Stress Causes Adrenal Fatigue

I have recently come to understand how Adrenal Fatigue can impact on people’s lives and that it probably affects at least 80% of the population.

The adrenal glands, situated on top of the kidneys, are important as they help us to deal with stress but so many people these days have lives filled with stress that their adrenal glands are constantly on over drive.

The stress response by the body was originally designed to help us to protect ourselves and is what is known as the ‘fight or flight’ response.

The adrenal glands are part of the endocrine system and I have really come to understand how important it is for the endocrine system to be cleared of deep energy blocks and even entities to bring that whole system back into balance within the body.

The endocrine system is involved in providing us with the hormones we need in the right quantities for our organs to function at their optimum rate. Too much or too little of one hormone creates an imbalance and the person may then go on to develop a disease.

As people lead such stressful lives it seems to me that of the whole of the endocrine system the adrenal glands are the key players as they are the ones constantly being stimulated to produce the hormones needed in the stress response. Too much or too little of these hormones will cause imbalances in the rest of the endocrine system and this can then lead to other problems.

I feel that adrenal fatigue is often missed because people tend to look at separate parts of the body rather than recognising that it all needs to work in harmony, not just on a physical level, but on an emotional, psychological and spiritual/energetic level.

I have also come to understand that if you want to heal something in the physical it needs to be healed on the spiritual/energetic level first.

So how would you know that you have adrenal fatigue?
The most common symptoms are;

Insomnia,
Fatigue, lethargy
Weight gain especially around the abdomen, often difficult to move
Sluggishness in the morning
Constipation
Unexplained hair loss
Dry skin and hair
Arthritis pain in the upper back and neck
Lower back pain
Feeling cold
Allergies
Reduced sex drive.

What causes adrenal fatigue?
Anything that causes you long term stress. Probably the greatest cause of it though is toxic relationships.

When working with someone where I suspect there is adrenal fatigue I work energetically to balance all the glands in the endocrine system, as well as do healing on the immune system and the nervous system.

I feel that many people have had a lot of stress in previous lives and whilst it may not be apparent to them something in their current life will trigger an excessive stress response because it is triggering those past life memories.

I am coming to understand that it is more than likely adrenal fatigue that people have before developing many physical illnesses. Sadly most people have forgotten how to listen to what their body is telling them.

With adrenal fatigue healing work needs to be done on the physical organs and also on anything else that the healer feels may be connected. There may need to be lifestyle changes made or there may be toxic relationships that need to be healed.

From a physical point of view you can take vitamin C, vitamin B and Ginseng to support the kidneys. If you are on prescribed medication do please check that these vitamins and particularly the ginseng won’t affect the way the drugs work.

As the endocrine system is brought back into balance with energy healing, sleep patterns, energy and general health will improve.
